Shirley A. Timm, 82, of 131 Canterbury Lane, Alpena, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Alpena Regional Medical Center.
Shirley was born in Alpena, Michigan on February 3, 1932 to the late Joseph E. and Wilma A. (Diem) Beland. On January 5, 1952 she married A. Kaye Deadman, and he preceded her in death August 29, 1981. Shirley married John A. Berg February 6, 1986, and he passed away July 28, 1989. On April 3, 1998 Shirley was married to Norman H. Timm. Shirley had been employed at J.C. Penney, was head cashier at Kroger's, and retired from Alpena Savings Bank in 1988.
Mrs. Timm was a member of the First Baptist Church, an avid golfer and member of the Alpena Country Club, and president of the Village Green Condominium Association. Shirley enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Pistons.
Surviving are her husband, Norman; 1 daughter, Kathy Kaye (Randy) Shupert; 3 grandchildren, Jeffrey Lasecki, Kristi Shupert, and Kayla Shupert; 3 stepchildren; 2 brothers, Joseph (Kay) Beland, David (Jean) Connon; and 1 sister, Jean (Richard) King.
Mrs. Timm was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Eugene Orlowski.

Visitation will be Saturday at the Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. and will continue Sunday at First Baptist Church from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Matthew Leavesley officiating.
