His parents were Olof Markstrom, and Magdalena Charlotta Marklund. He came to America in 1907 first settling in Duluth MN.In 1909 he moved to Skagit County Washington. As part of his Naturalization he changed his name to Martin Gustaf Talin.He married Grace Nelson on March 23 ,1928.Martin Talin was a farmer living on Route #6 Mount Vernon. He is survived by his widow ,a sister Alfrida Talin,San Francisco. Several nieces and nephews.
