Orange - Donald L Benoit, 51, of 36 Chaney St., native of North Adams, died Saturday in Franklin Medical Center, Greenfield. He lived for many years in Millers Falls and Turners Falls sections of Montague. He was employed by Millers Falls Tool Co. for many years and retired in 1980 because of illness. He was active in the Citizen's Band Association of Franklin County, and a member of Millers Falls Credit Union. He leaves three sons Donald L Jr of Leverett, Jeffrey and William of Pittsfield; a daughter Susanna of Pittsfield, five brothers Clifford, David and George of North Adams, Sidney of Clarksburg and Eugene of Adams; four sisters Eunice DiGennaro, Elaine Anglea, and Mary Caprari of North Adams, and Pearl Tetrault of Stamford, Vt. and two grandchildren. Funeral will be Tuesday at Kostanski Funeral home, Turners Falls, with burial in St Mary's cemetery.
