Leon A. Bolene, 82, died Wednesday, January 8, 1997, at a nursing home in Wichita. He was born May 2, 1914, at Osage City, the son of Oscar J. and Daisy Sennett Bolene. He spent his early life in Osage City and was graduated from Osage City High School. He worked in the coal mines at Osage City for five years before going to work for Beech Air Craft in Wichita in 1939. He worked for Beech Air Craft for 39 years before he retired. He was a member of the Mount Vernon Methodist Church in Wichita. He was a 42nd degree Mason with the Albert Pike Lodge #303, AF&AM and had received his 50 year pin. He was married to Reva F. Marshall, July 3, 1941, in Wichita. He was preceded in death by one sister, Katherine True. Funeral services were January 11, 1997 in Osage City, Kansas.
