Calvin Francis (Frank) Barber, 55, of 104 S. James St., died Wednesday in a Rome hospital after an illness of over two years.
He was born December 18, 1907 in Rome, son of Calvin and Margaret Cranley Barber, and had lived here all his life.
On April 13, 1939, he married Lydia Terrier who survives.
Mr. Barber was a machine operator at Revere Copper & Brass.
Surviving besides his wife are three sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Agnes) Richardson, Greenway, Mrs. Harold (Margaret) Seigler, Rome, and Mrs. William (Mary Catherine) Brucker, Syracuse, and a brother, George Edwin Barber, Utica.
Funeral services will be held Friday at the Griffin and Aldridge Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Sykes, rector of Zion Episcopal Church officiating.
