Murphy, Calvin Thomas, age 29, of Middletown, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 15, 1984 in Middletown, OH to Russell and Karen (Spade) Murphy. He was a crew leader at Dry Patrol. Calvin attended Stratford Heights Church of God. Calvin is survived by his mother, Gwen (Darrell) Taylor of Middletown; children, Aurora Skye Murphy, Lola Marie Murphy; brother, David (Heather) Murphy of Middletown; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Patricia Spade of Middletown; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Margaret Skirvin of Carrolton, KY and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Calvin and Lavanna Murphy. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Stratford Heights Church of God Building Fund, 4419 Nelson Rd., Middletown, OH 45042.
