Arthur's mother was Christine Moeller-Long-Anderson. After his father's death, she later married Ernest Martin.

Arthur James Long, who died at a Madison Wisconsin hospital on December 15, 1930 from a tumor of the brain said to have been caused by a bump he received when a small boy, was buried at the Catholic cemetery here on December 19th.
Honorary pallbearers were Earl, Leo, Omar, Marvin and Francis Moeller and Donald Glass and active pallbearers were George and Fred Rankin, Arthur Anderson, E.G. Bailey, Alvin Thiboedeau and William Flecke.

Mr. Long was born October 19, 1900 in Sevastopol, Wisconsin.
He graduated from the Holy Guardian Angel School in Sturgeon Bay in June, 1915 and attended high school for two years. He worked for the Moeller Garage Company for a number of years and in 1919 became a very competent stage driver for the J.C. Dana Company.

On December 29, 1920, he married Ann Ridings.

Mrs. Long survives together with two children, Mary Jane age 9 and Jeanette age 5;
his mother Mrs. Tena Anderson
and a sister Mrs. Barney (Myrtle) Rose, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

For the past three years, he worked as a mechanic for the Sturgeon Bay Motors, resigning from his position three months ago due to illness from which he began to suffer last June.
