Annie died in her sleep. All the grandkids called her Mawmoo. She was very tenderhearted and was always trying to help someone. For years one of her grandsons thought Uncle Stewart was just some bum she had taken in off the street because she was always taking people in that needed a home. Many years later he learned that Uncle Stewart (Albert Hinton Arthur) was Annie's brother.
Annie suffered some terrible losses; her son Ronnie died from Spinal Meningitis at age 17 and her son Roy Lee Summers died in North Africa during WWII.
