Judith R. Allard 1942 - 2014 Ware

Judith Rose (Russell) Allard passed away peacefully at her home February 10, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born 30 September 1942 Judith was 71 years old.

Judith is predeceased by her parents Elmer and Ann (Dubay) Russell and her brother Charles Russell.

Judith is survived by the love of her life husband of 53 years Ronald T. Allard. Her five children, Ronald T. Allard Jr., and Wife Sharon of Roswell GA., Timothy E. Allard and Lynn Jansen of Ware, Jeffrey D. Allard and Ann St.Pierre of Ware, Daniel R. Allard and wife Marketa of Woodstock, GA., and her precious daughter Carla A. Allard and Robert Bullock of Warren. Eight Grandchildren, four great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and her Sister in Law Gail Russell of Ware.

Judith was a lifelong resident of Ware, graduating from Ware High School in 1960. She had a 20 year career as a Nurse and Respiratory Therapist working at Mary Lane Hospital in Ware.

Judith was especially proud of her four sons serving their country in four different branches of the armed forces. Ronald (Air Force and Air National Guard), Timothy (Army), Jeffrey (Navy and Air National Guard and is currently still serving with the Massachusetts ANG in Westfield) Daniel (Marine Corps). Judith's family was per passion and her faith was her guidance.

She was a parishioner of All Saints Church in Ware serving as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She also enjoyed going on retreats with her friends and playing Bingo.

The family would like to thank Baystate Visiting Nurses and Hospice especially Mamie Flowers for their care and compassion during Judith's illness.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 17th, from the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street with a Mass at 10am in All Saints Church, North Street. Burial will be held in Quabbin Park Cemetery in the spring. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 to 7pm.
