Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Nicholson Dorn Marbert and Eva Mitchell Marbert. She was a member of Eauzlaire Baptist Church, the Dorcas Sunday School Class, Women's Missionary Union and the XYZ Club.
Services were at 11 a.m. today at Eauzlaire Baptist Church with the Rev. W. Lloyd Hellams officiating. Burial was at 3 p.m. today in First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery of Greenwood. Talbert-Shives Funeral Home was in charge. Memorials may be made to Eauzlaire Baptist Church or to a charity of one's choice.
