Services for Mr. Robert Earl Atkinson, 71, of Centerville, who died on Saturday, February 3, 1996 at Hickman County Hospital, were held on Tuesday, February 6 at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville.
The servise was conducted by Bros. Paul Rogers and Bill McDonald, and was followed by burial in Oakmont Cemetery in Centerville.
A native of Tennessee, Mr. Atkinson was the husband of Audrey Mozine Atkinson, and the son of the late Connie L. and Kitty Louise McClain Atkinson. He was a laborer.
In addition to his wife he leaves four daughters, Kitty Pharris, Claudette Atkinson, Lily Durham and Michelle Atkinson, all of Centerville; six sons, Bobby R. Atkinson, of Clarksville, Ernest L. Atkinson of Nunnelly, Roger d. Atkinson of Lyles, Paul E. Atkinson, Steve A. Atkinson and James A. Atkinson, all of Centerville; his sister, Ruth Shackelford of Guthrie, Ky., nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, eight eight stepgrandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren."
