Victim of infanticide. Marie Noe murdered eight of her ten children (one died in the hospital, another was stillborn). She got away with it for years, using SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) as a ruse. In 1997, at the age of 70, she was finally arrested and sentenced to house arrest for the remainder of her days. Controversy surrounded this sentence, as people argued that she should not be shown so much mercy.
