Kirby T. Warren, 90, a retired farmer of Puckett, died of heart failure Sunday, May 6, 2001, at Rankin Medical Center. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. The body will lie in state at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Puckett United Methodist Church. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial in Puckett Cemetery. Mr. Warren had been a lifelong resident of Puckett. He was a member of the Puckett United Methodist Church, as well as of the Masonic Lodge 0621 in Puckett. Mr. and Mrs. Warren were married for 68 years and they were extremely devoted to one another. Mr Warren had served on the Rankin County School Board for a number of years and he was active in county and community affairs.

Survivors include: wife, Mary Agnes Warren of Puckett; son, Philip Warren of Brandon; daughter-in-law, Patsy Warren of Brandon; two granddaughters, Kelli Adcock and Tress Gardner; and three great-grandchildren, Eliza Adcock, Sally Adcock and Philip Gardner.
