James A. Butler, 70, life-long resident of Wetzel county, died Monday at 11:50 at his home in Bebee.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Grace Cumberlidge Butler, six sons, Clyde of New Martinsville RD, Randall of Proctor, John of Baltimore, MD, James of Weirton, and Henry and Junior at home, a daughter, Mrs. Mae Blake of Beech Bottom, a brother Lock Butler of Hannibal, Ohio, a sister Mrs. Martha Ingold of New Martinsville, three half brothers, Jeff of New Martinsville, Irvin of Marietta, Ohio and Foster of Canton, Ohio, two half sisters, Mrs. Mary Wetzel and Mrs. Emma Bosworth both of New Martinsville, 22 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Wharton Ellis funeral home where services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. by the Rev. W. H. Slater pastor of the First Christian church. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
