Miss Jennie Allen
Miss Jennie Porter Allen died early yesterday at the home of Mrs. Lola Harris on West Main Street, Cambridge, after a long illness. Miss Allen was born Feb. 26, 1861 in Alabama, the daughter of the late Mary Jane Porter and William Allen. She was a member of the Cambridge United Presbyterian Church. She is survived by six cousins, Mrs. Myra Jones of White Creek, A. Melvin Jones of Hoosick Falls, Oliver A. Jones of Westfield, Mrs. Marsha Mosher of White Creek, Ralph A. and Myron H. Jones of North Bennington. The funeral will be held tomorrow from the Spurr Funeral Home in Cambridge with Rev. Roy R. Lambert, pastor of the Coila United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlands Cemetery, Cambridge.
