Funeral services for Miss Elsie Mary Julia Wern,72,lifelong Galveston resident, will be held at 2pm Tuesday at Malloy and Son funeral home with the Rev. A.L. Pfennig officiating. Burial will be in the old family ranch cemetery, 12 miles down Galveston Island.
Miss Wern died Sunday night at her residence, 902 34th St. She was a member of the Luthern Church.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence Landry, Don Zimmerman, Albert Rhodes, Sonny Scharper, Otis Hopkins and Bob Vanderwarker
