Here at ten o'clock on Friday, Feb'y 16th, a number of relatives and friends from her old neighborhood across the river, and from Canton as well, gathered at the home of Mr. J. Eagleson, where a funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Walker M. Alderton, who had been an associate of Harry Penick a number of years ago in the Sunday school of the Baptist church. The body was then laid to rest beside that of her husband in the burial ground of the old Wyaconda church just southwest of Canton near which the family had lived a number of years.
