He married Laura Stephenson (b. Nov. 1871 in MO.) on Sept. 8, 1892 in Dade, Greenfield Co. MO and they are shown in court records at the time A.P. Brown's real estate was sold after his death in 1892. Four children were born to this union (F) Fanchon b. abt. 1893, (M)Gale Hathaway b. abt. 1895, (F)Margaret Corilla b. abt. 1899 and Lawrence S. Brown b. abt. 1902. In the 1920 US Census they are shown living in Pineville Twp., Mc Donald Co., MO. with their two children Gale and Lawrence Brown.
His brother Jesse Labon Brown's obituary in 1925 told that George lived in Lanagan, Mc Donald Co., MO. 1930 US Census shows them living in Downey, Los Angeles Co., CA. He died Oct. 16, 1932 and Laura continued to live in their house until her death on Dec. 13, 1962
Their son Gale also moved to Downey and is shown in the 1940 US Census.
