Death of Mrs. Mary Young.
Mrs. Mary Young, widow of the late Mr. John W. S. Young, died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. B. L. Smith, in the Temple Hill country last Sunday, at an advanced age. She was married twice, first to Mr. David B. Ritter, a well-known miller of years ago, and after his death to Mr. John W. S. Young, a prominent citizen of the county. She is survived by four children, Mrs. B. L. Smith, of Temple Hill, Mrs. Enos Kinchelo, of Smith’s Grove, Mr. F. B. Ritter, of Temple Hill, and Mr. Geo. R. Ritter, of Archcliff, one sister, Mrs. Ben H. Nuckols, of Fallen Timber, and brother, John Kinchelo, of Arkansas, also survive her. Mrs. Young was a woman of great influence, and had reared a family of splendid citizens. The interrment [sic] was at the cemetery on Mr. S. C. Harlan’s farm, known as the Broadus Nuckols place.
