She was the daughter of William Burton Babcock (brother of
my grandmother Elfa Rose Babcock, Foster, Monks) and Sophia Bach Mross.
Gladys Mildred Babcock's mother Sophia Mross Babcock died when Gladys
was 3 years old. Her father William Burton Babcock then married Pearl Marie
Russell and marriage only lasted a few months and they divorce. He then
married Helen Morvinski-Smaglinski.

Gladys Mildred Babcock married 2/h John Bylsma (Jr.) son of John Bylsma and Henrietta Brunsink 8 Aug. 1938 Elkhart County, Indiana, Both bride and groom from Grand Rapids, MI.

Shirley Mae, June Louise and Jo-Ann Bylsma. Jo-Ann Bylsma
