Alfred Arterberry, 79, of Enos, died July 7 in the hospital at Ardmore, Funeral services were July 11 in the Enos Baptist Church.
Interment was in the Lark Cemetery, He was born Dec 22, 1925 in Powell to the late William and Evelyn Ora Bridgeman Arterberry.
He married Wanda Bishop Jan 30. 1946 in Ardmore. He was raised in the Powell area and lived most of his life in the Enos community.
He was a member of the Enos Baptist Church.
Surviving are: his wife of the home; children, Lavon and Darrell both of Enos, Gary Arterberry, of Pauls Valley, Dianna Cogburn, Vickey Barnes, Treva Nail, all of Kingston,
June Baker, Buncombe Creek; 12 grandchildren' eight greatgrandchildren; brother, Newton Arterberry, of Louisiana and sister, Vivian Allison of Madill. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Arterberry, brother, Jim Arterberry and a sister, Flora Shields.
Chris Webb officiated services and arrangements music. Casket bearers were Donald Weaver, Ronnie, Leon and Ernie Bishop, Leo Arnold, Johnny Sedrock and Dick STephenson.
