CHARLESTON - Brenda Joyce Morgan, 61, formerly of Anniston, died at 5:30 a.m. July 11, 2004, at her daughter's home.
Born March 23, 1943, in Wyatt, daughter of Henry Lee of Anniston and the late Jessie Hutson Lee, she had lived in Mississippi County most of her life.
On May 13, 1977, she married Virgal Morgan who preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 1984.
Survivors in addition to her father include: two sons, James O'Connor of Charleston and Len O'Connor of Morehouse; three daughters, Gail O'Connor, Pam Butler and Misty Jenkins of Charleston; two brothers, Lanny Lee of Sweetwater, Texas and Kevin Lee of Anniston; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Jessie Varvil of Crystal City.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lenzi Berry Lee and Keith Lee.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie until service time at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dennis Lowe will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Jason Lee, Marvin Hatton, Gary Neal, Rob Varvil, John Slaughter and Mickey Henry.
Honorary pallbearer will be Billy Don Frances.
