Elisa M. (Rambaldi) Mencuccini, 92, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Daniel Mencuccini. Mrs. Mencuccini was born November 16, 1921, in Peterborough, NH, daughter of the late Augusto and Oliva (Fattori) Rambaldi. She was a Real Estate Agent who worked with her brother, Nildo Rambaldi, at the Nildo Rambaldi Real Estate Agency. She enjoyed painting, sewing, and home decorating. She is survived by two sons, Alfred Mencuccini of Goshen, and Daniel Mencuccini, Jr. of Torrington; one brother, Nildo Rambaldi of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014, with the cortege leaving at 10:00 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington to St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
