Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Burns Burns, 82, of Pulaski were held Saturday, December 31 at 3:00 p. m. at Carr and Erwin Chapel. Burial was in Bradshaw Cemetery. The Rev. Clarence K. Stewart officiated.
Mrs. Burns, the wife of the late Edgar Burns was born in Texas September 25, 1895. Her parents were the late Andrew Jackson and Beulah Benton Bearden Burns. She died December 30, 1977 in Giles County Hospital.
Survivors include one son, Paul Burns, Ripley; two daughters, Mrs. John Bledsoe and Mrs. Jean Cosby, both of Pulaski; one sister, Mrs. Thomas Richards, Metairie, La. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
