Sherry Ann Anderson, age 56 of Phoenix, AZ; died suddenly Sunday February 16th, 2014 in Colorado along with her husband, Sherman Anderson from injuries sustained in an airplane crash.

She was a native of Dublin, GA, lived in Milledgeville for over 10 years before making her home in Phoenix.
Sherry was a 1975 an honor graduate of Georgia Military College (Prep), Miss Congeniality of a Teen Pageant and graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1979.
She was an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha and met the love of her life, Sherman, while attending Georgia Southern.
She was Pilot/Captain with United Airlines for over 24 years. She was a member of the International Society of Women Pilots (ISA-21). Sherry and Sherman shared a love for flying, a deep faith and were devoted to their families and friends.

Survivors include a daughter, Samantha Keene Anderson of Phoenix,
her father, Owen Lamar Farmer of Milledgeville, GA,
her mother, Dixie Fay Keene Evans (Bobby) of Milledgeville,
a sister, Cindy Bowen (Mark) of Milledgeville
and a niece, Candace Lance of Milledgeville.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Davis and Rev. Jerry Chancy officiating following burial into the Douglas Chapel Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12 noon until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be Marvin Deen, Jimmy McCall, Jerry and David Lee, James Henry Carter, Jay Williams and Jim McQuaig. Honorary will be, Roger Johnson, Jimmy and Johnny Nobles, Tom Harris, Mayo Mims and all others in attendance.

Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements
