Edward served in WWI. In the 1940 census he was a "hired hand", unmarried. There are no records to indicate that he married or that he had children.
March 2018 Update from Deborah Dates Lamborn:
"You need to take a look at my tree of the Lamborn's where Parker and Emma Porter are married.
I saw the marriage license at the Kansas State Historical Society. I do not believe they ever divorced.
I had a major breakthrough last night and discovered why they never went public with the wedding. Besides a huge age difference, they were cousins.
