Allegany, NY -- Ada R. Hillman of 4022 S. Nine Mile Rd. Allegany died Wednesday (December 10, 2003) in the Wellsville Manor in Wellsville, NY.

Born August 24, 1914 in Hinsdale, NY she was the daughter of Melvin and Eula Taylor Miles. On November 13, 1944 in New York City she married Donald Hillman who predeceased her in 1963.

Mrs. Hillman had resided in Allegany since 1970 and had previously resided in Hinsdale for many years. She had been employed as a clerk in many area stores including the former Super Duper, CVS Pharmacy, GNC store and most recently for 12 years for the Service Store in Olean prior to her retirement.

She was a member of the Hinsdale American Legion Auxiliary and she attended the First Presbyterian Church in Allegany.

Surviving are 2 sons Kenneth (Merrie) Hillman of Cuba and Roy (Sharon) Hillman of Carlisle, PA; 1 daughter Barbara (Richard) Gustin of Roulette, PA; 9 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a godson Gary Carlson.

In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a brother Herman Miles and a sister Gertrude Milliron.

Burial will be in Hinsdale Cemetery.
