Mr. McNeely had been a resident of the Indiana Veterans Home since 1978. He was born January 11, 1906 in Washington County, Indiana, the son of Minville and Alta Hughes McNeely.
Mr. McNeely retired employee of the Enamel and Plating Co. of Lafayette. He was a member of the greenbush Baptist Church and was a World War II Army Veteran.
Survived by a Daughter Alvarena Mikels husband Don, two granddaughters Kim Mikels and Tamzen Mikels. Six sisters, Mrs. Roy (Gladys) Hoshaw and Geneva Hoshaw, both of Wolcott, Mrs. Travis (Merle) Kendrick of Speedway, Clara Hoskins of Oshkosh, Wis., and Dorothy Lowery and Mary Goldsmith, both of Lafayette; and two brothers, Ivis McNeely of Mitchell, IN and Paul McNeely of Monticello, IN.
