Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Amelia Ann Carter, age 81, who passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Appling Healthcare Systems under the care of Southern Care Hospice.
She was a native of Charlotte, NC living the past 30 years in Baxley and retired from McDaniel Vending Service in Jesup after 30 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Carter; grandson, Travis Carter; sister, Audrey Ash and a brother, Perry Darby.
A private family memorial service honoring the lives of Eddie and Ann Carter will be held at Omega Cemetery.
