Norman Wallace Garber, 65, West Clifford, died April 28, 2002, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at Bridgewater, he was a son of Wallace Garber, Baker Settlement and the late Goldie (Hewey) Garber. He was a long-time employee of Acadia Construction. He is survived by his wife, the former Viola Langille; daughters, Gwen, Bridgewater; Cathy, Saint John; Shelley, West Clifford; sons, Kevin, Turner Heights; Derrick, West Clifford; half-sister, Althea Bolivar, Baker Settlement; brother, Douglas, Petitcodiac, N.B.; sisters, Barbara Stagg and Marilyn Whynot, both of Wileville; grandchildren, Vicky, Scott, Michael, and Nicole; several nieces and nephews. No visitation by family request. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial in Baker Settlement Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Baker Settlement Cemetery Fund or any charity.
