Linda Lou Young, 66, of Zionsville, died February 21 at Zionsville Meadows. She was born November 9, 1947 in Roachdale to the late Vitus and Susie Mae (Clemens) Young. She graduated from North Salem High School. Linda married Robert W. Young on March 5, 2007 after a forty year engagement; she wanted to make sure he was the right one.

Her hobbies included sewing, reading and cooking. She loved and cared for her family as a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; children, Robert (Erin) Young, James (Justine) Young, Susan (William) Canner and Angie (Brian) Christian; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; siblings, David Joe Clemens, Barbara Lynn (Alvin) Davis, Rosemary (Dave) Davis, Wilma Jean (Charlie) Whetsel, Richard Mathew Clemens, Buddy Jerome Lathrup, Vitus Mathew Clemes, Jr., Violet Marie Clemens and Yaneata Mae Clemens. He was preceded in death by brother, Jackie Devon Clemens; one grandchild; sisters-in-law Mable Louis Clemens, Janet Clemens and Sue Lathrop.
