Born Sept. 22, 1920, in Nelson, he was the son of Audrey and Lena (Harrington) Adams. He was a lifetime resident of Nelson.
Mr. Adams was a tire recapper at Foster-Vencel Tire Sales in Warren for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Claudia M. (Horner), whom he married Sept. 24, 1944;
sons, William of Ravenna and Richard of Garrettsville; daughter, Marie Justice of Georgia; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A son, Robert Leroy, died July 11, 1968. A daughter, Linda L. Greene, died April 9, 1995.
Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home in Garrettsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Dr. Andrew Mabiala will officiate. Burial will be in Windham Township Cemetery
