MRS. EDWARD L. CARRUTHERS - Central New Annan - Mrs. Edward L. CARRUTHERS, 86, died Monday, Feb. 14, at the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in Central New Annan, she was the former Irene WILSON, a foster-daughter of the late John and Allison WILSON. She is survived by four sons, Leslie, Truro; Ray, Tatamagouche; Laurie, Central New Annan; Ralph, Fredericton, N.B.; seven daughters, Muriel (Mrs. Edward BLANCHARD), Oxford; Sadie (Mrs. Harry HANSON), Halifax; Hazel, at home; Bernice (Mrs. Brenton BEEBE), Coburg, Ont.; Phyllis, Truro; Hilda (Mrs. Graeme WILSON), Edmonton, Alta.; Helen (Mrs. Richard HANSEN, Moncton, N.B.; 33 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward L. Funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m., Barry BEEBE of Amherst officiating, Rev. Morley BENTLEY assisting. Interment was in the Bell Gift Cemetery, West New Annan.
