Funeral services for Annie Ray Perkins will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, February 28, 2014, in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Greg Willis officiating. Committal service will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery of Oakdale under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Annie, 85, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 21, 2014 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born on July 16, 1928 in the Ten Mile Community to the union of Autumn and Margie Willis Ray. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ottis B. Perkins; one sister, Daisy Johnson; and one brother, John Ray.

She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, one son, O. L. "Bill" Perkins of the Ten Mile Community; two daughters, Debra Laird of Oakdale and Arleen Scarbrough, husband Lee of San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Odom Ray, wife Betty of DeRidder, Alton Ray of Pitkin; and Autumn Ray, wife Ruthie of the Ten Mile Community; three sisters, Ella "J.J." Douglas, husband Doug of the Ten Mile Community, Loma Lee Nolen, husband Larry Wayne of Pitkin, and Oma "Cootsie" Davis, husband George of Pitkin; 9 grandchildren, O.L. "Billy" Perkins, Elizabeth Perkins, Annie Perkins, Timothy Laird, Margaret Laird, Jason Scarbrough, Victoria Scarbrough, Anna Lee Alvarado, and Katherine Scarbrough; 12 great grandchildren; special friend, Tina Maricle Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will begin Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2014 from 8 a.m. until service time in the chapel at 10 a.m.
