Mrs. Anna M. Couse
Mrs. Anna M. Couse, 89, of 111 Loehr Ave. died Monday in Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital. She formerly was a church pianist at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Syracuse.
She was the widow of Claude J. Couse.
A life resident of Syracuse, Mrs. Couse was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and secretary of its Ladies Aid Society for 35 years and a member of Kirk Park Community Club and Calvary Chapter 755, Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are four sons, C. Richard Couse of North Fort Myers, Fla., Arthur R. of Syracuse, Robert W. of North Syracuse and James M. Couse of Nokomis, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Williams of Syracuse; 16 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Services will he noon Thursday In St. Lutheran Church, Syracuse, the Rev. David Preisinger officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, DeWitt.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Greenleaf Funeral Home. Calvary Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, will conduct services 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
