Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Mt. Olive Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Howser officiating and burial following in the Shoat Springs Cemetery.
Rachel married J Paul Frost on Dec. 21, 2002, and had lived in this area for the past thirty years. She had worked as an RN at the the Choctaw Memorial Hospital in the ER. She also worked as a flight nurse for Air Evac. She was a christian and enjoyed cooking, reading, hanging out with her family, traveling and trucking with her husband J Paul. They had traveled to 48 states, and the "tougher the weather, the better she liked it." Rachel had a healthy respect for others and would do anything to help other people or animals. She was a member of the ASPCA and the Red River Valley Down Syndrome Society.
Rachel was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Grace Sinclair, Charles and Laverne Mazzare and grandmother, Julia Webb.
She is survived by her husband, J Paul Frost of the home; parents, Bret and Ruth Mazzare of Hugo; grandfather, Ray Webb of Brownsville, Tenn.; brother, Matthew Mazzare and wife Nikki of McAlester, Okla.; sisters, Kristina Crites and husband Jimmy of Powderly and Lisa Bowien and husband Eric of Choctaw; nieces and nephews, Katelyn Crites, Wesley Crites and James Crites, all of Powderly, and Ethan Mazzare of McAlester; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as many other relatives and friends.
