widow of Orville Thomas "Tom" LaFong, of Jeffersonville, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014. She was a 76 year old native of Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Lucille Nora McCarthy Menth, a retired office manager from a software company and a nursing home, and a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by 2 daughter, Margaret (Oscar) Dennis and Carrie (Ray) Botts, both of Mt. Sterling, 6 sons, Curtis Watson and Thomas (Barb) Watson, both of Idaho, Kenneth (Ada) Watson, Jim (Lisa) Watson, and Bill (Sheline) Watson, all of California, and Ron (Rowena) Watson of Nevada, 24 grandchildren, including 7 special grandchildren, Justin and Terry Botts, Edward Shaw, Cassandra White, Joseph LaFong, and Brendan and Dillon Parker, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Regina Menth and a grandchild, Justin Watson. Her funeral will be 2:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Father Frank Brawner presiding, with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Sunday.
