LEWIS, Joan Ives Manning 81, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. She was born January 7, 1933 in Manhattan, New York the daughter of the late John & Maryon (Ives) Manning. She is survived by her children; Alice L. Diamond-Conway, Robert E. Lewis, Scott C. Lewis and Jennifer J. & William Cox; six grandchildren; John, Matthew, James, Christopher, Katie & Hayden; four great grandchildren; Britany, Hunter, McKenzie & Bailey; a brother, Dr. John J. (Ruby) Manning; a sister, Alice Bettencourt; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Lewis; two sons-in-law; Rodger D. Diamond & Thomas E. Conway; two sisters, Susan A. Manning & Christina A. Oakes. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Felines, P.O. Box 232, Medway, OH 45341. The family is being served by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUBNAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
