BYRDSTOWN--Robbie C. Wells Hassler, 86, 1455 Hassler Rd. passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.

She was born Jan. 26, 1925 in Pickett County to the late Charles Landry and Mary Bertram Wells. Mrs. Hassler lived most of her life in Pickett County and was a retired postmaster, member of the Lovelady Christian Church and a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by husband, Dave Hassler; brothers, Robert Eugene "Apple" Wells and Charles Bertram Wells; sister, Margaret Zimmerman.
Survivors included sister, Jessie Baker of Byrdstown. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Louis Davis officiating and burial at Lovelady-Sims Cemetery. Pallbearers included; Francis C. Baker, Robert D. Baker, Steven Wells, David Wells, Guy Zimmerman, Philip Kay, Rex Zimmerman, Robert Wells, Shawn Hassler, Dana Hassler, Jerry McGregor, Tom Zimmerman and Ed Rossi. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
