Jack Boggs, 77, of Middlebourne, departed this life Saturday March 1, 2014 in Liza's Place, Wheeling. He was born in Gilmer County, September 15, 1936 a son of the late Ernest C. and Claudia Inez Henderson Boggs.

Jack was a retired employee of PPG Industries, Natrium, WV. He was a member of the Muddy Creek Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers; Bernard, George, Junior, Bill and Wayne Boggs.

Jack is survived by his wife of 58 ½ years, Donna Glover Boggs. A son Rodney (Kim) Boggs, Middlebourne. Two daughters; Sharon (Jon) Eddy, Knightdale, NC, Karen (Jon) Broadwater, Sistersville. A brother John Boggs, Parkersburg. A step brother Wm Ferrell, Middlebourne. Seven grandchildren; Joni (Everette) Faison, Matthew (Betsy) Boggs, Meggan (Angie) Hostuttler, David (Marina) Foland, Benjamin (Kaitlyn) Foland, Bradley (Shayna) Foland and James Broadwater III. Twelve great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne where services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday with Evangelist Jonathan Kerns officiating.

Interment in Middlebourne Cemetery.
