JAMES HERBERT JUSTIN

James Herbert Justin died at the Woman's hospital in Saginaw Aug. 6, 1927 of an acute attack of appendicitis. He was born at Evart, Osceola county, Michigan and was aged 52 and 16 days.

When he was one year old his parents moved to Flynn, Sanilac county, where he grew to manhood. He was married here July 18, 1898 to Miss Josephine McClintock. He has been a resident of Gladwin county 23 years.

He is survived by his wido and six children, Mrs. Harry Adelblue and Mrs. Dall Keith of Saginaw, Donald, Delmer, Jay and Arthur at home, three granddaughters, his mother, Mrs. Alonzo Justin, five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Walker of Argyle, Mrs. Minnie Hillaker of Royal Oak, Mrs. Ella Collins of Flint, Mrs. Nina Wolfe of Royal Oak, and Mrs. Fannie Turner of Gladwin.

Those from out of town who came to attend the funeral were his aunts Mrs. David Justin, and Mrs. Clark Justin of Brown City, his uncle, Charles Gardner of Imlay City, Bert Winer and son Delmer of Flint, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Turner of Imlay City, Bert Wylie and Curtis Bradley of Pontiac, Mrs. Glenn Everheart, Norman Hillaker, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hillaker of Ferndale, Miss Emma Hillaker of Argyle, Mrs. William Kerr and Mrs. O. C. Kerr of Marlette, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Hammond and son, Mr. and Mrs. George Smith of Detroit, Fred Kerr and son Clark of Sterling.

He was a kind and loving husband and father. Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. Robert S. Miller, followed by burial in Highland cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 8-11/1927
