Carter, Harry Frederick Corporal 145652, 1st Squadron. Northamptonshire Dragoons, Northampton Yeomanry. Died of influenza Thursday, 24th October 1918 in Italy aged 33. Born Far Cotton, Northampton and enlisted in the Northampton Dragoons in Northampton at the outbreak of war, together with his brother Wilfred George (they have consecutive service numbers). He disembarked in France 18th April 1915 and probably sailed for Italy 10th November 1917. He was previously employed as a tram driver with Northampton Corporation. Son of Benjamin and Leah Carter, of 175, Southampton Road. Far Cotton, Northampton. One of six brothers, four of which were lost in the War.
