Kathleen Mary McClanahan, 83, died on February 5, 2014 at WakeMed Cary Hospital in Cary, NC.
She was born in Washington, D.C. on October 8, 1930, a daughter of Amos and Grace Heath. Mrs. McClanahan had been a former longtime resident of Manassas and was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace E. McClanahan, a sister, Dorothy Custis and a brother, Amos "Sonny" Heath.
Mrs. McClanahan is survived by four children; Wallace E. McClanahan, Jr., Karen G. Marshall, Robin A. Tousha and Michelle M. Crowder. Also surviving is a sister, Constance Page. She loved her grandchildren dearly and was a wonderful grandmother of twelve and great-grandmother of seventeen.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15 from 12:30 until 1:30 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton where services will be held at 1:30 PM.
