Metter - Mrs. Barbara Alice Hackle, 52 died Monday, November 28, 2005. She lived all of her life in the Cobbtown, Collins, and Metter areas, and was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. She worked as a switchboard operator at Candler County Hospital for many years and loved her family and especially her grandchildren. Survivors: husband: Randy Hackle, of Metter; daughters and son-in-law: Jenine and Corey Carpenter, of Metter and Valerie Scott, of Odum; Brothers: Wayne Collins, of Winder, R.D. Collins, of Reidsville, George Collins, of Metter, Michael Collins, of Milan and Stacey Collins, of Jesup; Sisters: Sharon Lively, of Collins and Vicki Graffnay, of Lyons; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2005, at Morgan Family Funeral Home, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
