DIED. RITCHIE. I Mrs. Mary Jane Shelledy Ritchie, wife of Gen'l John Ritchie, of this city, died at half past one o'clock yesterday morning, after an illness of seven weeks; aged 59 years, 5 months and 17 days.
The funeral services will be held from her late residence at ten o'clock this morning. Friends of the family are invited.
Mrs. Ritchie was the youngest daughter of Caleb Shelledy, of Shelby county, Ry. She lived in that county until she was about ten years old, removed to Franklyn county, Indiana.
She was married to Gen. John Ritchie on January 16, 1838, and to Topeka in the spring of 1855, being the fifth women who located in this town.
