The retired U.S. Air Force veteran died in Las Vegas, Nev. Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005.
A resident of Weatherford for 35 years, he retired from the Air Force Reserves after 39 years in regular and reserve service.
His parents, Acie and Naulvit Alice Griffin; wife of 49 years, Genevieve R. Griffin; brother, Roland; and children, Rebecca S. Moreno and Albert Sabater preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife, Sharon Griffin of Las Vegas; children and spouses, Phillis G. Owens of Las Vegas, Alice N. Griffin of Weatherford, Phillip A. Jr. and Tina Griffin of Granbury, and Wensceslao Sabater Jr. of San Antonio; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two great- great-grandchildren; stepmother, Sally Griffin; sister, Sueann; and extended family members.
Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury is in charge of arrangements.
