John Diehm of Mount Holly died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mount Holly. He was 61.

Born in Germany, Mr. Diehm was a longtime area resident. He was a graduate of Rancocas Valley Regional High School and served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.

After his service to our county, Mr. Diehm worked as a machinist. He worked for over 20 years for Fisher Service Company in Burlington and later for DC Fabricators in Florence.

John enjoyed old cars and going to Atco every Sunday.

He is survived by three children, Deanna (Jon) Nay of Delran, Johnny Diehm of Eastampton, and Geoffrey (Jennifer) Diehm of Cherry Hill; four grandchildren, Chelsea and Tyler; and Kaine and Charlotte. He also is survived by his mother, Margaret Diehm of Mt. Holly; his sister, Therese Diehm of Mt. Holly; a brother, George (Carmelita) Walsh; and a niece, Leslie, all of Browns Mills.

John was the husband of the late Eleanor.

Services will be held privately.
