Funeral rites for Mrs. Laura A. Bending, former resident of this community, who died Tuesday at her home in Gary, will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at the local Broadway U. B. Church, Rev. W. D. Taylor, of Gary, in charge, assisted by Rev. R. E. Vance. Interment will be made at Chili, Ind.
The husband of the deceased preceded her in death. She resided with her daughter and son-in-law, Rev. and Mrs. R. D. Squires, of Gary. The family moved to Gary from this community about two years ago.
