Eddie Durward Farr, Jr., 71 passed away on March 4, 2014 in a local hospital. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 7, 2014 in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia with Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Mr. Farr was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Mary Lutrelle Jackson Farr and Eddie Durward Farr, Sr. He was a retired truck driver from Southeastern Freight. Mr. Farr was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his sister: Shelia Hunnicutt.
