Eli Daniel Brown, our precious son, earned his angel wings and went back to his Heavenly Father on February 26, 2014, at age 4. Our sweet baby boy will be always remembered by his sweet personality and a quick smile.

Eli was born in Kiev, Ukraine and was abandoned by his biological parents because of Down Syndrome. For the first 2½ years Eli grew up in an orphanage and was cared by many people.

In July 2012 Eli was adopted by an American family and became a US Citizen. A year later Eli came to our family because of health complications in his previous family. From the moment we met our sweet boy, we fell in love with him. Eli was always full of energy and always on the go from the moment he would open his eyes in the morning.

Although we only knew him for a very short time he brought us lots of joy. Eli was loved by many and always will be missed.

Eli is survived by his parents: Daniel and Svetlana Brown; his siblings: Patrick Dalton, Samuel, Jessica, Brianna, Alex, Adam, Misha, Timmy, John, Aly and Emma; his grandmother, Ann Brown; his great-grandmother, Marian Snow.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Don Brown and his great-grandfather, Jack Snow.

Fly high, our little angel, have fun with your grandpas until we meet again. We love you, your Mama, Papa and brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Oakley Stake Center, 355 North Center in Oakley, with Bishop Kevin J. Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Basin Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the funeral.

Services have been respectfully donated by Morrison Payne Funeral Home, 321 East Main Street in Burley.
